Our baby is 6!

All day kindergarten and now she's six?  Not sure how much more i can take. :-)
She decided she would have a Build A Bear celebration with five of her best buds from class.  Each of our girls has had a Build A Bear party but i have to say, this one was the best by far.  Our party host was marvelous!  Fun and loud, just like Lily!  :-)  Make sure and ask for Nick if a Build A Bear party is in your future.  Of course, no birthday around here seems to avoid Chuck E Cheese.  For some reason the girls always like to go with the rest of Tacoma to Chuck E Cheese on a Saturday night and for some reason, their silly parents oblige to this silly request.  Lily ended her birthday week....that's right, she milks it for all it's worth, with a dinner date to Red Robin with the best Daddy in the world.

Lily, you've made life so much fun.  You are a crazy nut ball of love.  You live life out loud and to the fullest.  You have no filter, which is frightening and comical all at once.  You are a mean baby of love, yet at the same time, so tender hearted and kind.  You keep us on our toes and i can't imagine what life would be like without you.  Can't wait to see you on American Idol or Dancing with the Stars one day.  Yup....she's already counting down the years. :-)

And i don't care what anyone says.....you look just like me!
I love you so much precious gift!

P.S.  If you missed Lily's birth story last year.  Here it is!

Before the stuffing fun began.

Playing games while they were waiting their turn for their animal to be stuffed.
Nick even sent the girls on scavenger hunts.  He was fabulous!

Happy girlies with their new friends.

This is my favorite part....when each friend puts a heart in Lily's animal.  So sweet....

The party man Nick!  Did i mention how amazing he was?

It was American Girl doll themed Build A Bear party.
Boys would never make things this complicated. :-)
Still hard to believe she is 6!

Put the characteristics of what we think it is to be a good friend on their cupcakes.

Birthday morning!

Taken on one of those sunny days we had.
Please come back sunshine....i miss you!

Toothless Wonder!

No photo shoot would be complete without Lily yelling:  MOM!!!!
That is my cue to stop taking photos.

And when i don't stop, this is what i get.  I literally could fill an album with this face alone.

New big girl bike.  She wanted to be cool and get a black bike like Bella
but couldn't find one that was black with flowers on it.  She's a big
foo-foo bruit and i love it!

More of Bella.....

Can you believe i forgot to post about her Tae Kwon Do birthday party?
I've been in a little bit of a blog-fog.  This weather has me uninspired to take photos, which is such a huge part of my blog.  Might have to make the girls go outside in the rain just to cure my 'itch'. :-)

Our little Tae Kwon Do cutie is going to be testing for her purple belt this week.  Don't mess with her boys, not only will her Daddy come after you, but she will take you down.  :-)

Also wanted to share a great accomplishment of Bella's.  She is an avid reader and it has paid off.  She was honored in front of the entire school for receiving 200 Accelerated Reader points and by completing four Sasquatch books.  Two awards in one day!  Yes....i was just a little proud....okay, WAY proud!

Warming up with nunchucks.  Yes, it frightened me! :-)

Especially this one!

Getting ready to spar!

Is she awesome or what?

Don't want to mess with this one!

This one is pretty harmless.

Crazy and cute BFF's

This is what she had been patiently waiting for....to cut her cake with a real sword!

And her very own nunchucks from her instructors.

Thank you Mr. Burns and his son J.D. for making Tae Kwon Do so much fun!
I love this photo.  So unlike Bella to get this excited but this was her expression
when she heard she was getting two awards because she thought she was only
receiving her Sasquatch certificate.

Beloved Mrs. Snyder, their wonderful librarian.

Way to go Bella!

Olson Trio

Yesterday i had the awesome privilege of witnessing an adoption being finalized.  Prayers were answered for a sweet little boy i used to babysit and his amazing wife when God brought them their Benjamin three months ago.  It's hard to believe that little boy is now a grown man with a family of his very own.

This family is incredibly special to me because Greg's Dad and Mom, Jim and Jean, picked me up faithfully every Sunday for Sunday school way back when i was just a little girl in kindergarten, up until my high school years.  They truly planted the seed for my foundation i have now, and i will be forever grateful they never gave up on me.  Yes, i strayed from the church for several years inbetween meeting my husband, but i came back....and so thankful my God never gave up on me either.

Benjamin, you are beyond blessed and so are your Mommy and Daddy, that He chose them to parent you here on earth.  Can't wait to watch you grow up to be a man of God, just like your Daddy.

With pleasure, i introduce Benjamin Olson, the newest addition to this marvelous Olson clan.
Love to you all!

My newest favorite trio!
Abby, Benjamin and Greg Olson

Love this!

Benjamin says it's official!

I think we have a Supreme Court Justice in the making....don't you?

Sweet love birds.

Happy to be an Olson!

I love my Mommy!

Blue eyed cutie....

It's hard work being cute.

Paperwork done and complete!

A sweet Mamma with her big boy!

This woman changed my life forever....LOVE you Jean!

Jim and Jean
Little shout out for Jim.  He did not start running until he was 40.  He just celebrated his 60th birthday
and has done several marathons.  He is currently training for the Eugene marathon where he hopes to
come in under 3:29.  Yes, 3:29!  That was his last marathon time and that was with two potty breaks!
Amazing!
