These two sweet things are the most strong willed stubborn little creatures you will ever meet.
The bickering between the two has not stopped since we came home from lunch with our friends today so i decided to pull a 'Kelli Pritchard'. I am hoping 20 minutes of holding hands with someone you are not very fond of at the moment will make you think twice about fighting the next time.
I asked the girls what they learned from sitting in time out together.
Grace's first response: I don't know why i am sitting here in the first place, i didn't do anything!
Uh...no...let's try that again.
Grace: Not to fight with my sister and to stay away from your camera. (Lily starts snickering)
Grace: Not to fight with Lily and to talk nice to each other.
Lily: Yeah, to be nice to her even though i wish i was holding hands with Bella instead!
Ding-ding-ding-ding-ding! Good answer.
It's only 4:25 pm, we'll see how the rest of the night goes.
Thank goodness we can start over tomorrow.
Come on Lily, didn't you read your shirt today?
Where's the LOVE?
Little annoyed with your Momma?
Now the tears....oh sweet drama!
I think I may have to try that with my children....ReplyDelete
Haha to cute, I should try that with my two. I know not funny to them. We had some neighbors long ago, that did this with theirs and it was for 24 hours.ReplyDelete
Ah ha ha! Love it! I will try this my girls tomorrow. I'm thinking positive (cause in reality it may be in the next few minutes)ReplyDelete
I know it's wrong, but it made me laugh. Good thing I'm not a mom. I would be laughing all the time and never be able to teach my kids anything. Grace's face in the 2nd photo is priceless.ReplyDelete
I LOVE this! We totally tied Marissa and Claire to each other for about 1.5 hours the other day and they HATED it and solved our problem ALL day!!! Nice work mom!!!ReplyDelete
SuLee, Your daughters may always hate these pictures, but i think this is my favorite post ever! i totally laughed at the drama comment.ReplyDelete
This is the cutest thing! Way to go MOM!ReplyDelete
Is the handprint wreath behind them the one Grace made at FPCS in Mrs. Brown's class? I have Caroline and Ryan's hanging in my living room.ReplyDelete
Tara, ours are from their kindergarten class at Sunset Primary. I'll have three by this time next year. Can't belive Lily will be in kindergarten.ReplyDelete
